7230 DUAL CREDIT FOR COLLEGE COURSES

All students may choose to take college-level courses at accredited colleges or universities. Such opportunities may include early admission to college, collegiate-level work offered in the high school, or other means of providing advanced work. Review and approval by the administration are necessary before any college courses may be taken during the school day.

The District shall not be required to pay tuition and other related costs for those high school students enrolled in college courses. Students who wish to enroll in college-level coursework shall meet all academic, grade level and coursework requirements as set forth by administrative rules and regulations.

*Some students may be eligible for a scholarship or a fee waiver through the institution offering the course directly. Students should inquire directly through the institution for specific details.
